Johnsonville Line S & I List

These are the Signalling and Interlocking Circulars ( S & Is ) that I have identified. It is not necessarily a complete list of relevant diagrams.

The date listed is either that on the text or, in some cases, on the diagram. The S & I usually includes the phrase At a time and date to be advised by train advice the Signalling and Interlocking arrangements shown on the attached diagram will be brought into use. In most cases I do not have the relevant train advice so the signalling may have been commissioned after the date specified.

S & I 503, dated 1/6/1938, marked the introduction of Automatic Signalling on the Johnsonville Branch.
